2 Days and 2 Nights to Go!

I am officially a Potter head. So I ventured to Barnes and Noble tonight to find out what is going on Friday night. I figured that there may only be two more of these things, so I might as well go while I still can. There was a sign outside that said, "The magical party starts at 8pm" and under that in small letters "Wristbands to purchase books will be given out starting at 6pm". I went inside and asked the first associate whether I could still prepurchase or reserve a book. I can no longer prepurchase a book, but I could fill out a reserve slip and wristbands will be given out starting at 6. I dropped my request in a box and then started to leave, but since I was still confused as to what exactly was going on Friday night, I decided to ask someone else. The customer service associate was not forthcoming with info either. She added my name to the list to reserve a book, said that I still needed to have a wristband on Friday (then what is the list for?), and answered yep to all of my questions.

"The wristbands will be given out starting at 6?" "Yep."
"So the party starts at 8?" "Yep."
"And the books will be on sale at midnight?" "Yep."
"And there will be activities?" "Yep."

At that point I gave up trying to get any more info out of the "yep" machine. I guess I am going to talk Ryan into going to dinner near there around 6 and seeing how long the line is to get a wristband. Then maybe I will head back around 10pm or so. Oh, and my sorting hat arrived today, so I am going to wear it to the book party. Yay!!! It looks so cute.

Just to really prove what a dork I am for Harry Potter, I joined the Barnes and Noble online reading club, so that I can discuss HP things with other HP obsessed people. It seems like it will be really fun.
